In pursuance of Clause 5 of the Right to Information Act (thereafter referred to as The Said Act”) the following officers of the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) are hereby appointed as Public Information Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer to deal with the applications received from the public under The Said Act.

 The Public Information Officer shall be responsible for preparation and publication of information manual and its updating from time to time as per the said Act.

The Assistant Public Information Officer shall ensure that the applications received under the The Said Act are scrutinized and submitted to the Public Information Officer for decision so as to furnish the relevant information to the applicant as per The Said Act on issues pertaining to Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB)

 This order is issued in accordance to the decision of the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB)

                                                          First Appellate Authority

As per section of the Right to Information Act,2005,any person who, does not receive a decision within a period of 30 days or is aggrieved  by a decision of the Public Information Officer/ Assistant Public Information Officer, may after the expiry of 30 days prefer an appeal before the chairman  Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB)-The first Appellate Authority designated as per the Said Act.
